Another year just passed by with a blink of an eye and i have had such an enriching experience in terms of my personal and professional life. A ride to my 28th year was interesting and i came across wonderful events to cherish for a lifetime. This blog post is a note, a reminder and a message to myself. I have penned down few notes to myself.
1. Be ready for a change..
A small change in your life can make a big difference in your life. It might not be big or life changing but even a small relevant change can make you happy and you will bloom through the time.
2. Regrets – Leave them behind…
Do not carry the excess baggage in your life. You had done enough of what you could possibly do. Do not get charged with extra stress in your life.
3. Life is too short , Enjoy your food.
Well said and correct.life is too short to miss out on all yummy food. The extra ounces will do no harm to you until an unless you enjoy your food whole heartily.
4. Be less apologetic.
Being apologetic to every situation will make you no stronger. Sometimes its just not worth it.
5. Express yourself – speak your mind.
The real charm is in speaking your mind.There is no harm in being your true self and having an opinion about something. The fear of not getting reciprocated or making fool of yourself will not take you far.
6. Read More
One of my favorite thing is definitely reading books. Reading is just transfers and gives me a “ME” time cutting off from the surroundings. Please let me know in comments below if any recommendation for books?
7. Stay Focused & Happy
I am always a focused person but not all the time happy. Life might hand you with something unplanned, but working out through is a real beauty of life.
Life is literally a blessing for us. We might just think another normal day while someone might be longing to live extra few days. I wish everyone including myself a very happy ,focused and enriching year ahead.

“Don’t be afraid to go where you’ve never been and do what you’ve never done, because both are necessary to have what you’ve never had and be who you’ve never been!”
Done & Dusted with the long weekends in Abu Dhabi and the weekdays seems never ending. Having said that we got to do what we got to do 🙂This weekend seemed too tiring for me as I was down with weakness and every part of my body was aching. I was petrified with the feeling of work the next day at the same time. So I have to get back on track with healthy diet and sleep of course!
So coming back to Abu Dhabi every corner is lit during the weekend these days as the weather seems easy and breezy now. Gathering all my energy after feeling wasted the whole day I headed to one of the locally popular Sheikh Zayed Heritage Festival. Located almost 1 hour away from the city the event took place in Al Wathba mainly popular for camel racing track. This festival brings you the culture of different countries inside one boundary. Like last year I was all pumped to see and to shop from different country stalls there. The entrance for the festival was free for all which pulled a lot of crowd towards it. Bringing you home the flavors of different countries this festival was perfect gateway for everyone. I sighted unique handicrafts and souvenirs from each country which reflected their culture and stories of their own. Not forgot to mention the cultural dance show from each country was definitely food tapping and fun to watch! Since my body was really weak and tired I could not capture really good pictures for long however few snaps are here for you!
So basically MOMO is the popular dish back in my hometown Kathmandu.This is one of the most tempting fast food which compliments the mouthwatering sauce. We can prepare Momo dumplings with vegetables or any minced meat as per your preferences. Again i am not a great cook though my purpose is to share my experience 🙂
So then i was wondering how it feels to have perfectly wrap the Momo dumplings. Its not something i have not tried before, in fact i have tried plenty of times. I had literally given up when it comes to cooking Momos. But this weekend i tried the Momo recipe and it was a complete wow moment for me.
Hi everyone whoever is reading this first of all thank you for visiting this page 🙂 So basically i have a short break from my work recently and it has excited me to make a maximum use of my DSLR 😉 .So here i bring you again the simple recipe of sponge cake which can compliment your tea whenever you like. Its very spongy and super moist and easy to prepare if you have basic ingredients . Lets quickly run through the ingredients following the method 🙂
- Oil or Butter
- Sugar (Better caster sugar )
- Plain Flour
- Baking Powder
- First thing pre-heat the oven to 180 C
- Beat the eggs and add sugar . Mix the sugar and egg until it is smooth.
- In another bowl add flour and mix it with baking powder,oil and prepare the batter.
- Now pour the egg mixture in the batter .
- Bake at 180 C for 25 to 30 minutes.
- You need to check if it is ready using skewer or cake tester.

Malai Kofta – Deep Fried Paneer tossed in a rich smooth gravy
I am very lazy when it comes to cooking but sometime your inner chef comes out when it comes to cooking for your loved ones. So as i was thinking of cooking something healthy, i stumbled upon this restaurant style recipe and thought of giving it a try! Koftas can be made from potatoes and paneer or we can also option for other veggies. I have used paneer,cabbage & spinach.
- Paneer ( Cottage Cheese)
- Green Chilli
- Cashew Nuts (soaked in water for 15 min)
- Chilli Powder
- Cumin Seeds
- Garam Masala
- Fresh cream
- Coriander Leaves & powder
In a pan dry roast spinach and cabbage and cool them down.Add the chopped green chillies, coriander leaves ,grated paneer and grated cheese into spinach and cabbage.Mix the ingredients very well and make a small round dumplings. Fry the koftas in hot oil until brown in colour.
In a pan add some oil and fry cumin seeds & onion-garlic paste. Cook the onion until they are brown and add the curd and cashew paste in the curry and mix well.Later add tomato paste and add the coriander powder, salt to taste,sugar & red chilli powder. You are required to cook the curry for 8-10 minutes. Finally add the garam masala and turn off the flame.
You can pour the curry over the koftas. Garnish with some fresh cream and coriander leaves. Serve this to your loved ones !
